What If? and What Is? Cards
Hold predictions and current evidence side by side while making room for uncertainty.
Clinical review requiredFull-resolution WebP artwork with print-safe margins. Review the guidance below before use.
How to use it
- Choose a scenario card or create your own.
- On one side, notice the prediction or what-if thought; on the other, list what is known right now.
- Add what remains uncertain and choose a next step only if one is useful.

Reflection prompts
- What is known, predicted, and still uncertain?
- Is the concern realistic, possible, or hard to assess?
- What response respects both the evidence and your need for support?

Facilitator guidance
Validate uncertainty and realistic risk rather than using present evidence to dismiss concern. Support practical planning when a concern is credible or more information is needed.
Adaptations & accessibility
- Use fictional or low-stakes examples before personal scenarios.
- Complete one side verbally and one with images.
- Add an uncertainty column or not enough information card.
