The full-resolution WebP includes print-safe margins and should be downloaded by an adult professional. Read the guidance below before using the page.

How to use it

  1. Choose a page that feels workable today; you do not need to complete the book in order.
  2. Add a photo, drawing, object, story, saying, routine, question, or blank space.
  3. Include warm, difficult, uncertain, ordinary, or mixed memories if you want.
  4. Keep the page private, share it, revise it, or stop.

Reflection prompts

  • What would you like this page to hold, and what should remain private?
  • What support would feel useful after working on it?

Facilitator guidance

Follow the participant's language for the person, relationship, loss, and memory. Do not assume closeness, idealize the relationship, correct contradictory memories, or require a coherent tribute; plan an ending and assess storage/privacy.

Adaptations & accessibility

  • Use audio, collage, objects, dictation, or a digital book.
  • Offer pages for limited contact, unanswered questions, or no memory.
  • Complete one small section and return only if desired.

Professional-use review

Enhanced licensed grief-specialist and cultural-responsiveness review required before use; review developmental fit, complex relationships, traumatic loss, privacy, and closing support.

This clinician-created resource is published for professional evaluation. Before client use, the treating clinician or other qualified adult must determine whether it is appropriate and complete every specialist, accessibility, safeguarding, and local-policy review named above. Publication does not represent individualized clinical approval.
